I highly recommend stepping into the future created by KSR. He not only captures the crises we face today but shows us how people adapt to and overcome them. He brings out the stubborn optimist in me.

Earlier this year, I decided The Ministry for the Future was my new favorite. Amazingly, New York 2140 stands right up there with it. KSR builds an incredible world and introduces us to characters we can relate to. He makes heroes out of people who find or create solutions. His multiple POV style in the two mentioned novels is a lot of fun, especially if you listen to the audiobook versions.

This is the third novel I've read from KSR and it won't be the last.
